I don't like that reality shows have infiltrated channels like VH-1 and TV Land. I got cable for the first time in March and am seeing just how much these shows have taken over these channels. VH-1 used to be about actual music all the time and now....blech. I do like the retrospective shows about the 80s or 90s, but besides them, reality shows just don't seem to fit with VH-1.
And reality TV definitely doesn't fit in with TV Land. Instead of showing reality shows they should include more old TV shows. That's why people turn to TV Land. Not for a bunch of 40 year olds trying to be 20.

VH1 should bring back the American Bandstand repeats that they had first showed in the mid-90s. Those were fun and caused a lot of buzz.
Actually, I was never a VH1 fan. When I was younger, I enjoyed watching MTV and BET videos. Now that I'm 45, I'll check out an occasional video on YouTube but won't spend time sitting in front of the TV watching hours of them (like I used to in 1985).
