Melrose Place

Last week I went to the library and got 5 discs from season 1 of Melrose Place. I was/am a fan of 90210 and look forward to watching the reruns on SoapNet every day. That still may be considered a guilty pleasure, but I really don't care. Aaron Spelling did a great job with the stories, casting and everything else. Growing up I wasn't allowed to watch 90210 or such shows so it's nice watching it now.

So, along that line, I never watched Melrose Place, but I know that many actors and actresses I know from other shows now got their start on Melrose Place. So...I took it out hoping to get an idea what the show was about and leave it at that. But, of course, now I'm addicted and can't wait to watch the whole series and see what happens with all these characters. I really love Andrew Shue's character and am sorta sad that he's just doing cheesy Lifetime movies these days. On Desperate Housewives I can't stand Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, but I love him on here and am now warmed up more to him on DH. So...now I'm waiting for Marcia Cross to appear. I have enjoyed everything else I have seen her in so I'm curious to see what her character on here is like. And of course I can't wait to see Kristin Davis.

People that know me are probably surprised I get hooked on such fluff shows, but with all the thinking I do during the rest of the day I'm happy to rest my head with nonsense that doesn't offend me like most reality shows do.
